Product Description
Product Overview
Traditional River channel Flow‑measurement methods mainly include the current‑meter method and the float method, while measurement techniques encompass manual boat‑based surveys and cableway measurements. These measurement methods… Although the measurement accuracy is high, Labor-intensive, time-consuming, and costly. , Moreover, it cannot perform continuous online measurements. 。 With the launch of smart water management and smart water conservancy systems, it is necessary to conduct continuous, real-time monitoring of hydrological data such as river water levels and flow rates, employing… Acoustic Doppler Flow rate Instrument Conducting online monitoring of river discharge has… Incomparable Advantages 。
MXS05H Acoustic Doppler The current meter is mounted laterally and employs a dual-beam configuration. Intelligent Sonic Pulse , Perform stratified measurement. , even when flow conditions change, high-resolution, high-quality data can still be obtained. , The profile range of this product series : 0.07 m–100 m. Particularly suitable for flow measurement in natural rivers, artificial channels, and water supply canals. , Widely used in hydropower and water conservancy, municipal drainage, and other industry sectors.
Product Features
· It can monitor the water level, flow velocity, and water temperature at a cross section in real time, thereby obtaining the cross-section’s average flow velocity, instantaneous discharge, cumulative discharge, and other parameters.
· Depending on the river channel width, the sensor’s measurement range and layer thickness can be set via parameters.
· We offer free cloud‑platform services, allowing you to use our company’s flow‑meter host to transmit real‑time data—such as water level and stratified flow velocity—to the cloud platform.
· Side‑mount, rail‑type installation bracket; no need to enter the water for product maintenance.

Site Selection Requirements
The installation method depends largely on local conditions and requires site-specific planning. The device can be mounted on the left or right bank of natural rivers, canals, or other water bodies. Installation locations should have a minimum water depth of at least 1 meter and be positioned at least 30 centimeters above the water surface; the exact mounting height varies with the river width. The transducer emits ultrasonic waves in a conical beam with an angle of approximately 2 degrees, so it is essential to ensure that this conical beam does not strike the riverbed, the water surface, or any other obstructions during measurement.
1. The river channel upstream and downstream of the monitoring point shall be straight; the section upstream extending 5 times the river width must be straight, and the section downstream extending 3 times the river width must also be straight.
2. The flow regime is stable, with the flow direction remaining consistent along any vertical line within the measurement cross-section and forming a 90-degree angle with the cross-section.
3. Uniform distribution of flow velocity within the measurement cross-section;
4. The flow measurement cross-section shall be free of obstructions or large-sized impediments.
5. The water must contain at least some gas or suspended particles;
6. At all water levels, there must be sufficient water depth to fully submerge the instrument, while ensuring that the beam does not emerge above the water surface or strike the riverbed.
7. The flow velocity range shall be within the instrument’s measurement range;
8. If flow calibration is required, the cross-section must be equipped with facilities for manual flow measurement.
9. Avoid the influence of algae and weeds on the front of the instrument;
10. Avoid swirling, backflow, or stagnant water.
