The MXS04B 24G radar-based telemetry water level gauge is a mature application of industrial ranging radar in the field of water level measurement, delivering high‑precision (millimeter‑level) readings over an extended range. (40 meters) It features high reliability and simplified operations and maintenance, making it suitable for water-level monitoring in rivers, reservoirs, open channels, as well as upstream and downstream of dam structures. It can also be deployed for flash flood management and flood‑control applications.

The water level gauge connects to host devices such as computers, PLCs, and RTUs via an RS‑485 interface and the standard Modbus protocol, thereby forming a water level monitoring system.

Product Features

The MXS04B series radar water-level telemetry terminal employs a 24 GHz millimeter-wave radar as its measurement unit and features a low-power microcontroller design. This product boasts the following characteristics:

• Complies with the communication protocol specified in SL 651-2014, “Hydrological Monitoring Data Communication Protocol.”

• The power-on startup time does not exceed 5 seconds, and no warm-up period is required.

• The normal operating power consumption does not exceed 0.15 W.
