How to handle a full-scale reading on a radar level transmitter?
Our technical team analyzed how to address the issue of all on-site measurement data.
First, we should conduct a comprehensive analysis of the specific causes, and based on these causes, we can develop the following solutions:
1. At present, most radar level gauges used in China employ horn antennas. When the antenna feed line is exposed to dust, it tends to harden and delaminate, leading to interference and other issues.
Solution: Utilize the radar level gauge’s programming capabilities to suppress spurious signals, enabling the device to transmit and receive electromagnetic waves normally.
2. Radar level measurement typically employs either frequency‑modulated continuous wave or pulsed wave techniques. When sudden interference signals appear in the environment, it is easy for the system to produce an excessively large or small peak value.
Solution: Identify the source of signal interference and address the issue through proper installation. B. Grounding can be used to shield signals.
