Product Description

Product Overview

In recent years, several cities have witnessed numerous accidents in which manholes have swallowed or injured people, seriously jeopardizing the safety of lives and property and sparking strong public concern. At present, pipeline management still relies on traditional methods—relying on manual, ad hoc inspections and targeted surveillance. This management approach is increasingly at odds with the growing scale of pipeline networks and the limited number of field personnel, making it ever more difficult to ensure comprehensive and effective oversight of pipeline assets.

The MXT09 smart manhole cover sensor is compatible with manhole covers of all materials, functions, and specifications currently available on the market, enabling visualized, information‑based monitoring and management of these covers.

Product Features

  1. Manhole cover tilt: When the manhole cover is opened or experiences abnormal movement, the terminal immediately pushes an alert notification to the maintenance personnel’s mobile app and the monitoring platform.

  2. Overflow Monitoring: The sensor continuously monitors the water level inside the well. When it detects a gradual rise in the water level approaching overflow, it immediately pushes an alert notification to the maintenance personnel’s mobile app and the monitoring platform.

  3. Manhole Cover Damage: The sensor is equipped with an integrated light sensor. When a manhole cover is damaged and causes changes in the internal lighting, the sensor immediately sends a damage‑alert notification to maintenance personnel’s mobile app and the monitoring platform.

  4. Parameter Update: Device parameters can be updated remotely, enabling rapid commissioning and adjustment of equipment as needed.
