Product Overview

The MXS04T radar‑based remote water level gauge represents a mature application of industrial ranging radar in the field of water level measurement. It achieves breakthroughs in high precision (at the millimeter level), extended measurement range, high reliability, and simplified operation and maintenance, making it suitable for monitoring water levels in rivers, reservoirs, open channels, as well as upstream and downstream of dam spillways. It can also be deployed in scenarios such as flash flood management and flood control.

The water level gauge is equipped with an RTU, enabling direct transmission of collected data to the data center via 4G, NB‑IoT, or other methods. It can also be connected to a host computer through an RS‑485 interface, allowing the host to acquire water level and attitude data using the standard Modbus protocol.

The MXS04T planar radar telemetry water level gauge is designed with a ultra-low-power microcontroller and features the following characteristics:

　　 l    An onboard electronic level module enables automatic calibration of the radar’s horizontal position via an external gimbal, ensuring measurement accuracy.

　　 l Onboard temperature and humidity monitoring module, as well as voltage and communication signal monitoring modules, enable real-time monitoring of equipment operating status, supporting remote operation and maintenance.

　　 l Onboard attitude sensor; automatically triggers an alarm upon any change in the device’s position.

　　 l Provides free cloud platform and data traffic services, reducing customers’ project‑construction costs.

　　 l Complies with the GB/T 11828.6—2008 standard, “Water Level Measurement Instruments — Part 6: Telemetered Water Level Meters.”

　　 l    Complies with the communication protocol specified in SL 651-2014, “Hydrological Monitoring Data Communication Protocol”;

　　 l    It employs a 32-bit ultra-low-power microcontroller and features a built-in lithium battery, enabling up to one week of operation without external power.

　　 l Millimeter-wave radar with a measurement range of 40 meters, ensuring accurate measurements even in heavy rain and offering strong anti-interference performance.

　　 l Onboard temperature and humidity sensor, continuously monitoring the environmental conditions inside the chassis.

　　 l Onboard attitude sensor; automatically triggers an alarm upon any change in the device’s position.

　　 l Supports remote parameter configuration and monitoring, as well as remote device maintenance.

　　 l    Supports on-site configuration and maintenance via Bluetooth.
